Hanna Buschbeck: A Vision from Beyond?

Inspired by the work of Friedrich Jürgenson, Hanna Buschbeck dedicated much of her life to researching electronic voice phenomena, or communication with the dead via audio recordings.

So perhaps it’s no surprise that, after her own death in 1984, she would herself appear in spirit form on a television set.

A strange video allegedly shows us this spirit form, which materialized as a brief, slow-motion picture on a “defective” televisor.

This, as stated by WorldITC, is an example of “visual transcommunication” achieved by Maggy and Jules Harsch-Fischbach on January 16, 1987. The spirit was later identified to be Hanna Buschbeck.

Before her death, Buschbeck worked extensively in the field of paranormal research, and organized international meetings with other prominent researchers to discuss experimental parapsychology. She died at the age of 78.

However, if this video is real, it would seem she returned. She appears young and happy,  “as if she would like to speak,” but only for the briefest moment.

Given that she appears so young, it also makes you wonder if perhaps the deceased return to a younger form when in the spirit world. But then, as one YouTube commenter puts it, “They have louvered blinds in the afterlife?

    1. There’s actually an explanation given for all of that (take it as you will!):

“There is a sort of filter system used in the transmission of photos between dimensions. The filter modifies the sent photos according to the memories, ideas and expectations of the receivers. This causes some pictures to be altered to the point where they are similar to earthside photos.” –

You know, I find stuff like this and…even though it’s totally unbelievable, I still think it’s compelling. Like reality TV, I guess (well, I don’t watch any of that, but you get my point).

Imagine if we really could communicate with another dimension through our television sets…

      1. It would be amazing!

I love stuff like this, and listening to EVPs, all of it. It’s such an intriguing idea to me, to be able to communicate through electronic thingies after ya die.

        Wish it was true!!!

      2. Thanks! It’s kind of a rough ‘prototype,’ but I’m going to start adding hub pages like that to cover different topics, turn Stranger Dimensions into a proper website. Keep things organized.
