A new batch of declassified UFO reports are now available online, this time over at the National Archives of Australia. The reports range from 1957 to 1971, and include a number of unusual alien descriptions and other miscellany.
There are two documents, which combined add up to 58 pages, with the heading of “Scientific and Intelligence Aspects of the UFO Problem” (page 6). The first document appears to focus on the “US attitude” regarding UFO phenomena, while the second delves into isolated reports from around the world of “landing or near landings compiled by Jacques Vallee” (page 24).
Notably, its introduction discusses the “existence of three ‘weapon systems'” possibly employed by UFOs (page 24):
Page 33 describes an incident in Italy in which a roughly four-foot-tall creature used a flashlight to paralyze a witness, who was only able to escape by clenching their keys in their fist:
Another account from that same page notes a different incident in Italy, this one involving three dwarves and a rabbit:
TweakTown highlighted a couple others when the documents first surfaced last month. Most intriguing was case number 848 (page 27), in which a witness described their vehicle being stalled “in the vicinity of [a] brilliant, transparent mushroom-shaped object having occupants with cat-like faces.”
There are no doubt other gems to be excavated from these documents. All of it can be found over at the National Archives of Australia.
