An unusual Bigfoot report, along with several images, was shared this week on Facebook.
North Georgia’s Expedition: Bigfoot museum received the photos from a man named Scott Yeoman, and posted them on March 15. “These photos of a peaking Sasquatch from Bailey, Co are starting to get some legs,” they wrote.
The images came courtesy a man named Scott Yeoman, who claims they were taken in August of 2017. According to his story, he and his wife were working on finishing the interior of the their new home, preparing to move in, when he entered the living room and smelled “a VERY harsh odor.”
“I caught glimpse of something moving outside the window from the corner of my eye,” Yeoman wrote. At first, he thought it was likely a bear, as bears had visited several times before. But as he watched, he realized that probably wasn’t the case.
“I saw the top of the head and that caught my attention. It moved closer and I [saw its] eyes were freaking huge and it scared me because bear eyes aren’t that large or far apart…fear struck me hardcore.”
The window was about 7-8 feet up, indicating that the creature was quite large. Yeoman was able to take a handful of photos, which you can see in
the Facebook post (the post has since been removed). Notably, as he pointed the camera at the creature, Yeoman wrote that “it stopped swaying and closed [its] eyes as if it [were] a child.”
The sightings lasted roughly 10 minutes before the creature finally began moving away from the window. Yeoman also claims to have captured the event on video, however the video was allegedly lost in a fire at his mother’s house.
While some time has passed since the event, Yeoman claims they still see the alleged creature to this day. “We have seen it at a distance every now and then in the darkness by the fire light,” he wrote, “not the body, but eye shine. And that’s pretty creepy too.”
Responses on Facebook seem fairly mixed. Some believe this may very well be Bigfoot, while others think the images show a black bear, or perhaps something more like a gorilla. At least one mentions the possibility of Photoshop. But I’ll leave all of that for you to decide.
