A video uploaded to YouTube this week purports to show what could be the fabled Loch Ness Monster.
As the Scottish Daily Record reports, Rob Jones had been touring the Loch earlier this week when he captured what some are claiming is footage of the elusive creature.
You can check it out in the above video.
Jones had been driving and saw whatever is was at a distance “across the Loch near the castle.” When he stopped to get a better look, it was much closer than before and a curious crowd had gathered to take pictures.
In the video, a dark shape appears to rise up out of the water (not unlike what you’d expect from a plesiosaur’s neck, I suppose) and coast along. A boat approaches. Jones himself — who can be heard saying, “It’s moving?” — isn’t convinced the object is anything out of the ordinary, but many can’t help but wonder.
What do you think?
Apparently, if recent headlines are to be believed, many had thought good old Nessie had died, as prior to this, no sightings had been reported for about eight months. Perhaps she was just taking a break from the spotlight.
As most are aware, Loch Ness has long been home to sightings of an alleged monster. Check out my post here on some of its history of sightings and evidence.
