Video: “Dramatic” North Dakota Tornado Footage

Warning: the above video contains strong language, nervous laughter, and some seriously awe-inspiring tornado footage.

The tornado touched down in Watford City, North Dakota on Monday evening, and Dan Yorgason not only lived through it, he captured some pretty incredible footage.

It injured nine people and destroyed 15 trailers in a nearby trailer park, but Yorgason was (inadvertently) able to get within reaching distance of the tornado without being swept away to the Land of Oz.

Which is lucky. He and a friend stood and watched the tornado for nearly a minute before hopping into a truck and attempting to escape.
