Airliner Nearly Collides With UFO Over Glasgow

An Airbus A320 had a close encounter with a UFO over Glasgow, Scotland on December 2, 2012, if a report by the UK Airprox Board is to be believed.
The Airbus was preparing to land at Glasgow Airport when an unidentified object approached from ahead, passing about 300 ft beneath the airliner. However, nothing appeared on radar.
No one is clear regarding what the object actually was, but according to the pilot, there was a “high” risk of collision.
“…it appeared to have been blue and yellow or silver in colour with a small frontal area, but ‘bigger than a balloon’.”
Possible explanations for the object include “a fix wing aircraft, helicopter or hot air balloon,” though it’s unlikely we’ll ever know for sure.
