Will The World End Today?

Well, folks, today is the day.

Doomsday.

Like I’ve mentioned before, Harold Camping, professional End Times prophet, has been claiming that the world would end today, October 21, 2011.

Then again, this is the guy who predicted Rapture on May 21, 2011, and, well before that, the return of Christ in 1994.

He came to these conclusions after extrapolating various dates and cycles from the Old and New Testaments into our modern calendar. The Rapture, he said, would occur in May, with the actual end of the world happening, well, any second now.

I can’t be too hard on the guy, though — he’s recovering from a stroke, and most people, including Christians, don’t pay much attention to his predictions. And the day’s just started; who knows what could happen.
