Phantom Quadcopter Gets Up Close and Personal With Some Fireworks

DJI PHANTOM FIREWORKS from Gasper C on Vimeo.

Vimeo user Gaspar C has uploaded a video shot from a remote-controlled Phantom quadcopter as it hovers through a sky full of exploding fireworks.

As he says in the description, “My buddy decided to take his Phantom and fly it through some fireworks. This is the result.”

The video is set to the music of Arcade Fire’s Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains), and shows us the firework shells as they travel upwards and explode into brilliant colors, as fireworks often do.

This gives a different perspective, I think, allowing us to see through the eyes of the robotic drones that will eventually enslave humanity.
